Personal data.
The house collects the bare minimum, explains everything, and sells nothing.
The data controller is the publisher identified in section 01. For any question, write via the contact form.
— What we collect
- Mailing list signup: your email, your language, plus at submission time: IP address, user-agent, date and source page (security, anti-bot).
- Audience measurement: page visited, language, referrer, device type and browser. No clear-text IP — only an irreversible fingerprint (SHA-256 with daily salt) which cannot identify you beyond 24 hours.
- Contact form: first name, email, subject, message, IP, user-agent, date.
— Why (purposes & legal bases)
- Mailing list — to inform you of the launch and editorial news. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a).
- Audience — to understand site usage and improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
- Contact — to reply to your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.b/f).
- Security — to detect and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
— Who sees your data
The publisher, and no one else. No transfer to any third party (advertiser, platform, data broker). No transfer outside the EU: servers are in France (LWS).
— How long
Your rights.
The GDPR grants you six rights over your data. The seventh is to file a complaint with your data-protection authority if the house misbehaves.
- Access — obtain a copy of what we have about you.
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request erasure.
- Objection — refuse a processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability — retrieve your data in a reusable format.
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time, without justification.
You exercise these rights via the contact form. The house responds within thirty days at most. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French CNIL or with your local supervisory authority.
